Trolltunga Gateway Cabin, is situated 5 km hiking along the trail to Trolltunga. Breakfast not included. The cabin is a traditional Norwegian mountain cabin, surrounded with a picturesque scenery, fresh air, fresh mountainwater, an harmonic atmosphere.
At the gateway to Trolltunga we have a cabin available for rental during the high season/june-sept. The cabin is situated at Mågelitopp, only 8 km hiking from Trolltunga. You drive from the senter of Odda to Skjeggedal/P2, you can drive or walk to Mågelitopp/P3, and and then its 1 km hiking to the cabin. The cabin has 3 bedroms with 2 beds each, an annex with 3 beds. Kitchen, bathroom, an amazing fireplace. Selfserved dinner and breakfast.
Mostclients park at the P2 parking and then follow the shuttle from P2 parking toP3 parking. The shuttle/the parking at P3 starts 3rd June.
Upuntil this date, you must walk up from the P2 parking to the P3 parking. Fromthe P3 parking to the cabin it's about 1 km. Here is map showing the trail fromthe P3 parking to the cabin. More info about transport here https://trolltunga.com/parking-and-transportation/shuttle-buses-and-taxi/
By the front door you find a key box, with a key to access the cabin. Kode to the keybox you can get at either the reception of Trolltunga Hotel, or at the Trolltunga Active Shop at the P2 parking. Please leave the key in the key box when yougo hiking.
Every room have a separate key that is in the door when you arrive. You can lockyour room and bring the key when you are hiking. At the end of your stay pleaseleave the key in the door.
