Hardangervidda National Park

The Hardangervidda is one of Europe's largest mountain plateaus and the home of Northern Europe’s largest stock of reindeer. Outdoor activities to explore this area are walking, hiking, fishing, cycling and in the wintertime cross-country skiing. The Hardangervidda National Park has a variety in landscapes: the western part of the plateau has an alpine character with narrow valleys and in the northwest you’ll find one of Norway's largest glaciers, the Hardangerjøkulen.
